The Wonder of Christmas
John 1:14 (English Standard Version)
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14 (ESV)
Emmanuel, born of a virgin, in Bethlehem in a manger, and to all who believe, He is no stranger. The babe was wrapped in swaddling cloth at this birthplace, and yes, He came into this world to save the human race. Jesus, the Son of God with a humble beginning, lay in a bed of hay. However, purpose had to be accomplished so there He could not stay.
In heaven, the choir of angels was praising and singing and on earth unto this day, Christmas bells are ringing. Jesus’ love for mankind is so sweet, without it we are incomplete. Peace on earth and goodwill for all men still exist today, therefore there is no need to be dismayed. Brothers and sisters, the Good News, go tell, go tell; spread the message across the globe: Jesus Christ is alive, accept him as Lord and Saviour and all will be well.
“It is well with my soul” is the song we can now sing, as we worship and adore the King of all kings. Jesus is the reason for this wonderful Christmas season. As we celebrate His birth, He came to give us life and peace among many other things while we dwell here on earth. His desire is for us to come out from the darkness and walk in the light, so let us embrace Him today, the Star that shines so bright.
